Stellar Haat wanted to have an e-commerce grocery website as well as an app that helped vendors to sell groceries online. They wanted to develop an e-commerce store to handle a large volume of products and product categories. They also wanted their customers to navigate through their store easily. Also, they wanted their e-commerce website to be fully functional. So, the main objective was to step into the online grocery business.
The client wanted to get the goods delivered to the customers faster. Also, they wanted their customers to choose their location to view the available items in their area.
Client Goals
- Online storefronts should be responsive and visible on smart phones.
- Storefront should have a catchy navigation menu with functions like User Login/ Register, Promotional Banners, Search option to navigate through the store, featured products, top-selling items, products with discount tag, SMS alerts, etc
- Admin panels for vendors according to their cities and areas
- Admin to have all controls over the online store.
- Have all functionalities to enable admin to add new products or product categories, shipping costs, banners, discounts, etc
- A CMS system to have content that can be updated for terms and conditions, privacy terms, shipping policies, etc
- Vendors should have the right to update inventory by picking through the product list and include quantities available at their respective stores. Also, they should be able to update discounts and prices.
- SMS alerts for each new order (for vendors), email notifications, order reports for the groceries by scrolling through data and time options

Looking at the requirements of the client for an e-commerce storefront, we suggested them Woo Commerce platform which operate on WordPress. The versatile plug-ins, Add-ons, themes offered by WordPress was the ideal option to make a fully functional and aesthetically beautiful grocery store.
We selected the latest WordPress theme that helped the client get faster load times and efficient navigation.
